The Cañón del Guatiquia viewpoint is located in the Chingaza National Natural Park in Colombia. The park is open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 7:00am to 4:00pm. The entrance fee for foreigners is 54,000 COP (about 15 USD), and for Colombians it is 19,000 COP (about 5 USD). At the Cañón del Guatiquia viewpoint, visitors can enjoy a stunning panoramic view of the Guatiquia Canyon. It is recommended to visit the viewpoint early in the morning to avoid the clouds that often cover the view later in the day.
In the surrounding area of the Chingaza National Natural Park, visitors can also explore the Laguna de Chingaza, a beautiful mountain lagoon with hiking trails and camping areas. The park also offers guided tours to learn about the local flora and fauna, as well as traditional indigenous cultures. The park is located about 50 km (31 miles) northeast of Bogotá.
